Executive Team

Asif Husain is a Vice President, in charge of Fusion Public Relation’s Los Angeles office, overseeing operations as well as providing corporate messaging and strategic planning, media outreach and crisis communications. His PR experience includes extensive work with business-to-business technology, convergence, consumer electronics and the Interactive Entertainment industry.

Prior to joining Fusion, Asif worked for the corporate communications department of Activision, Inc., the second largest independent publisher of video games. In his role he managed the media relations for the company’s biggest and most successful franchises. Asif created long-term PR and branding plans and worked with national and local business and consumer media from print, broadcast and online outlets to secure coverage for the company and its products.

Previous to his tenure in-house, Asif was a senior member of the Interactive Entertainment division at the PR agency, Bender Helper Impact (B/HI). While with the firm he oversaw multiple teams working with TDK Mediactive, Konami and Codemasters coordinating new product launches and corporate branding efforts. In addition to managing his account teams, his responsibilities included the creation of top line PR plans, coordinating media outreach and securing high profile coverage.

Prior to B/HI, Asif was with The Bohle Company, a technology-focused public relations firm. During his time there, he played significant roles in the PR efforts for an array of technology clients, including EarthLink, CDW, Virgin Mega Online, SONICblue (manufacturer of the Rio line of MP3 players, as well as Go-Video and ReplayTV products), id Software and the Game Developers Conference (GDC).

Asif holds bachelor’s degrees in Physiological Science and Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
