Executive Team

Stephen B. Andrews brings more than 15 years of communications, media, management consulting and project management experience to Fusion, where he serves as a Senior Vice President, Practice Director and sits on the executive management committee for the agency. Prior to joining Fusion, Stephen worked closely with IBM, Genworth Financial and other clients at Ketchum Public Relations, to develop strategic thought leadership opportunities with media and other influential stakeholders within academia, business, consulting and other key constituencies.

Stephen was a founder and managing partner for Andcom / PK Media, a firm focused on serving clients in the legal, consulting and financial services sectors.  Andcom / PK Media offered clients executive level strategy, coupled with media execution, issues management, relationship management, crisis management and media training.

Prior to founding AndCom, Stephen was a group director at PepperCom, a top five public relations agency located in Manhattan where he helped to create and build the Corporate & E-Business practice and later assisted in refocusing the technology practice.  Stephen also oversaw and managed the agency’s flagship GE Capital account teams.  In addition to his other responsibilities, he sat on the agency’s management committee, assisted in evaluating and developing new business opportunities and developed training material centered on e-commerce and corporate web initiatives for both staff and clients.

Prior to joining PepperCom, Stephen was responsible for managing the Apple communications initiatives, including launching new product lines and recasting corporate messaging for media, customers, staff and channel reseller partners. In addition to re-launching a new and more vibrant Apple, he worked with Claris Inc. to transition the company into File Maker Pro Inc., and Apple branded software. 

Prior to managing the Apple account, Stephen was responsible for coordinating Dell Computer’s public relations efforts, including launching the on-line Dell Store, as well as briefing and accompanying Michael Dell on his media visits.

Stephen has also managed several Web-based and software client accounts where he assisted in assembling partners for the first live transactional e-commerce charity Web site.  He also provided investor relations counseling to Web developer clients through the IPO process, and has helped other software clients forge partnerships with Apple and IBM.

 He has also worked with clients helping them to navigate through government and regulatory agencies in business, education and food and drug sectors, as well as counseling non-profit organizations dealing with homeless children and “at risk” youth in communications strategies and development activities.

Stephen has spent time under contract to Andersen Consulting’s TLI initiative, an venture capital program, evaluating the market readiness of technology companies seeking funding and logistical support.

In addition to authoring industry reports on speech recognition, mainframe & enterprise security and organic management theory, Stephen is the author of several works of short fiction, as well as a collection of poetry and articles on ethics in public relations and time management.

Stephen holds BA and MBA degrees from Saint Mary University, and a BPR from Mount Saint Vincent University.
