Pen plus touch Computing was the “red-headed stepchild” of the laptop and tablet industry for many years and non-existent in the handset market. N-trig and Wacom together brought the technology out of the shadows and into the forefront. After several years of working with Fusion to develop leading PR and social media programs, N-Trig’s tech could be found in devices from Dell, HP, HTC, Lenovo, Fujitsu, Microsoft and others. Our strategy to highlight the pen as important to touch computing became a benchmark for the industry, helping shape the way that people and markets view them. The PR campaign earned its way into the national and top consumer media hundreds of time, with scores of bylines and articles, often relying heavily on pre-emptive newsjacking as major computing vendors would not disclose specifics. In 2015, N-trig was acquired by Microsoft.
