Transcendence at the Web 2.0 Expo

San Francisco, Moscone Center – After many hours of pre-pitching, it’s great to finally be at the second annual Web 2.0 Expo, sister event to the summit. The expo is attended by a large international/national contingent of prominent reporters, industry analysts and executives who are interested in the exhibitor trends surrounding all-things Web 2.0, specifically social networking and startups.
Yesterday was entirely demanding on the soul/sole of my feet – but I mustered up the energy at the end of the day to attend the event’s booth crawl, which consisted entirely of attendees and exhibitors (the press were off to the Haight), and experienced the novel ideas/themes on display.
I’ve managed to pick up my Yahoo swag too, as I am toting around a very fashionable purple bag.
